Holidays: Paris and Tossa de Mar, Costa Brava

I'll only post some shots from my holidays, when I went with my boyfriend dome days to Tossa de Mar, in Costa Brava. A very very happy and sunny days, and I went with my family to Paris for one week, in an appartment just in face of Château Rouge metro, near the Sacré Coeur. I'm going to Paris...again!

Yes! I'm so so happy 'cause I'll be in paris for one week, again, this time with my family. The last time I gone with my boyfriend and was only for 4 days, but I was so marvellous :blushes: and I loved Paris, and I'll return it tomorrow since the next saturday, 26 august.

Therefore, I haven't submit any illust lately, but don't think I haven't do any illustration during this time! NO! This summer I've been very bussy with my final project for my studies of illustration (I'm doing a calendar), and I've done a couples of illustrations for a contest of Peter Pan (Fgures Futur), I've done 4 illust with in colab with other great artist, for a request, about a children's book. And I'm doing with my boyfriend a little cut for a contest of Catalan Television (TV3 / K3), I don't know how it's called in english..sorry....but I've done the character's design, story-board, textures, etc..and he is doing all the work in 3D, with 3D studio max. you can view his website here http://www.amadeumartinez.com/

I would to show you the illustration of peter pan and the others for a children's book, for a contest called Figures Futur 2006, and I'm very proud of them, but you have to wait, I don't know if I ready can post them on the net....

witch or faery?

well, only a cute drawing I've found yesterday vieweing old sketches, and I liked it, and today I inked it again and painted it. I would to paint it to way different from my usual illustrations, one more time, for improve with the computer. I like how it looks a lot. I think it could be better, but anyway I like it

Pirates

I done a illust about a young pirate's girl who was dreaming to became a "great" captaine pirates. also a beautiful and rich.
well, I liked this character, and some of my friends and people from the net, said me that it was a good idea to developping as a children's story, or children's comic. after this, I was begun to write all the ideas I had in my mind about the others characters and personalities and draw some sketches about pirate's costumes and characters.
here you have some sketches I did this evening. all of this isn't deffinitive, except de young pirate's girl, who already hasn't a name XD well, hope you like them!

paris, hada y piratilla

bueno, bueno, hace ucho k no posteo nada pero lo cierto es k hay algo de nuevo. a finales de abril, me fui con mi novio unos dias a paris y nos lo pasamos genial. tan solo fueron 4 dias, pues no hay mucha pasta....pero fueron 4 dias muy intensos ya gotadores k con gusto volveria a repetir. la ciudad, obviamente, preciosa y la gente muy amable. pude entenrme con ellos bastante bien a pesar de k voy a clases de frances desde solo el pasado octubre! :D


acabe de pintar el hada del verano. podria haber quedado mejor, pero tp termino en desastre. guzgad vosotros mismos.



finalmente, hice un dibujillo repentino que me dio el mono, de una piratilla k sueña con ser la reina del mambo, y por el momento ella ahorra mientras sueña con su brillante futuro. a raiz de este personaje, se me han ocurrido mas personajes a su alrededor, y me esta gustando y lo voy anotando en una libretita. kiza algun dia me ponga a dibujar una historieta con ellos. creo ks eria divertido.


y de momento nada mas. sigo con el proyecto que me tiene frita, no se pk...soy demasiado autoexigente creo yo....

you can view the first sketch (filthy!), and the final sketch, where, maybe tomorrow, I'll color the final drawing.
I like how it looks now. Hope once it has been finished, looks good too!!

I'm trying to practice some different poses, playing with the volumes of the human figure. gor do this last drawing (final sketch), I was take a shot from myself to view and understand the anatomy.

Estoy haciendo el ultima hada que me queda por hacer de la serie (aunk solo eran 4...). el hada del verano. podeis ver el primer esbozo, k la pose es horrible, y la version final.
estoy bastante contenta de como queda ahora. espero que quede bien tb una vez coloreado! Estoy intentado practicar con poses algo diferentes y mas dificiles, como con esta, en la k juego con los volumenes. me ha costado bastante. para hacerla me fotografie a mi misma para ver como iba la historia....hago lo k puedo :P suerte de mi novio que siempre me dice las verdades y me ayuda a mejorar! bueno, os invito a k me digais k os parece, criticas, sean buenas o malas, son bienvenidas!
